ST. VALENTINE’S DAY

On Sunday, February 12th, 2023, at 10:00-15:00 we’d like to invite you to the Lublin Village Museum for an event freely referring to St. Valentine’s Day. The Lublin open-air museum’s visitors will be able to take part in the Holy Mass, after which the guide will invite them to walk together through selected monuments of the Museum. The tour will start in the Church from Matczyn.  It will be a great opportunity to take a closer look at the altar of St. Valentine and listen to the true story about his life. We also will invite participants to visit the cemetery lapidarium and the Cottage from Teodorówka, where we will  about the different faces of love. Then, in the town hall from Głusk, the museum’s vocal ensemble – Rózga –  will give a concert of traditional love songs performed with folk voice.  Warm tea will be served. Our guests will also have opportunity to  play the flirt game or read matrimonial advertisements from the 1930s.  The special presentation of pre-war method of preparing coffee with the siphon will be additional attraction. Last not but least, visitors will have an opportunity to take horse-drawn carriage rides from: 11:00-12:00 and 14:00-15:00.
