MONODRAMA “The Goose Girl, that is the Difficult Art of Saying NO“ REALISED IN THE OPEN AIR VILLAGE MUSEUM IN LUBLIN, on-line premiere October 31st, 2020

This week, the Lublin Open Air Village Museum hosted Mrs. Magda Kwaśna, an actress and a director of children’s theatre, who wascarrying out the cinematography for the performance – a monodrama based on the themes of the 19th-century Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Goose Girl”. The project was carried out as part of the Scholarship Mayor of Lublin. The performance was created in a fair-folksy style, there were also traditional wedding songs sang in a white voice …

Fairy-tale open-air museum…

A princess was sent by her mother, which was a queen to a neighboring kingdom where she had to marry the son of a local king. Her mother bundled a maid off to accompany her. It turned out, that the maid was wayward, disobedient and disrespectful towards the princess … As they reach the neighboring kingdom …

The theme of fairy tales and performances is the adventures of a young princess who having left home gives her rightful place and attributes to a usurper-servant away…

The fairy tale tells in an indirect way about gaining internal autonomy and the ability to express yourself assertively and safely.
