COMPLETION OF THE TASK FROM THE FUNDS OF WFOŚiGW

Co-financing from the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Lublin allowed for the implementation of the task entitled: “Kształtowanie postaw prośrodowiskowych wśród dzieci i młodzieży szkolnej oraz ochrona zasobów przyrodniczych Muzeum Wsi Lubelskiej” [‘Shaping pro-environmental attitudes among school children and youth and protection of natural resources of the The Lublin Open Air Village Museum ‘]. As a part of the project the activities for children and adolescents on nature protection, including bird life, were carried out, a nature path was marked out, a guidebook with birds living in the Museum area and an ornithological path were issued with a circulation of 13,000 copies. In addition, 75 nesting boxes were placed in the open air museum, 25 seedlings of trees and shrubs were purchased as food for birds; as well as some didactic aids were purchased: thematic literature, binoculars, compasses, magnifiers, spotting scopes for bird observation, bird models, eggs and nests, and a film summarizing the project was made.
