During this particular time of staying at home for longer than usual, The Lublin Open Air Village Museum is launching a project SENTIMENTS addressed to all those who would like to share the stories of pre-war items.

The Lublin Open Air Village Museum wants to encourage you and motivate you to save the memory of the history of pre-war treasures, which are often passed unnoticed or are lying at the bottom of drawers, wardrobes or dust in the attics – these can be photographs, documents, everyday objects, knick-knacks and other equally valuable trinkets.

Let them speak and tell their story!

 

To join the SENTIMENTS project, all you need to do is:

– take a picture of the object;

– describe where it came from – what is the history of its acquisition, who the owner was and when he/she lived;

Then send the collected material to edukacja@skansen.lublin.pl

The most interesting stories will be published on the Lublin Open Air Village Museum’s social media and website. Also, the awarded participants will be invited to the Museum for a dedicated walk led by an employee of our institution when it shall be reopened to the public.
