Palm Sunday

On April 2, we are glad to invite you to celebrate together Palm Sunday. We will start with the Holy Mass celebrated in the 17th-century Church from Matczyn, and a solemn procession with  festal palms. The market square of the Museum Town will turn into area for  exhibitors from our region to offer  various specialties for the Easter. You will be able to visit the museum interiors with festive decorations with a guide and, upon prior registration, take part in handicraft workshops of making  Easter eggs and  palms.

Moreover, in the Głusko Town Hall you will be able to see an exhibition – result of the 4th Provincial Easter Palm and Easter Egg Competition.  

 

PROGRAM:

9.00 AM to 4.00 PM

Easter Fair – market square in th sector of the Town

9.00 AM to 10.00 AM

Workshops of making traditional Easter palms* (reception will be open from 8.45) – School from Bobrowniki.

10.00 AM to 11.30 AM

Holy Mass and procession with festal palms – Church from Matczyn.

11.30AM

Thematic guided walking through selected objects with festive  decorations – meeting in front of the Church.

Workshops of decoration the Easter eggs with technique of scratching – Manor House from Huta Dzierążyńska.

Workshops of making traditional Easter palms – School from Bobrowniki.

*Registration for workshops: by phone: 81 533 85 13 extension 20. The maximum number of participants in one group is 20 (the order of applications is decisive). Workshops dedicated to adults and children from 7 years of age (with caregivers). Workshop fee: PLN 30 per participant.
