The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and church fair

The presentation of traditions of the old church fairs in villages and towns. The market square of the Museum’s town will be filled with colourful stalls of handicraft, toys, sweets and regional products. Except for modern products, there will be also a stall with historic products from the collection of the Museum – devotional articles, ornaments, wooden or metal toys.

The Holly  Mass on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will take place in the wooden church from Matczyn at 4 p.m. There will be the opportunity to bring the bouquets made of grain spikes, fruits and herbs in order to bless them.
