Presentation of horse plowing and spring field work – 3rd of April 2022
On Sunday, April 3, 2022. in hours 12: 00-16: 00, at the Lublin Open Air Village Museum, an event related to the agricultural year in the countryside will be held – a presentation of horse plowing and spring field work, during which traditional work in the field will be performed using old equipment and tools once present in rural farms. The show will be enriched with a commentary by Mr. Wojciech Kniaziuk – Director of the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture. An exhibition of agricultural machinery used during spring field works will be presented in the field near the farm in Żabno. Pony tours will be an additional attraction.
The event is organized in cooperation with: Lublin Horse Breeders Association, Lublin Agricultural Advisory Center in Końskowola, Polish Association of Users and Friends of Work Horses, Horse Producers of Healthy Food and the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture.
12:00 – 12:30 – presentation of agricultural machines with a commentary on how to use them (a plot near the farm in Żabno)
12:30 – 14:00 – a show of spring field works with a commentary (field near the Zygmuntów Windmill)
2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – pony tours for the youngest, pony care treatments: cleaning and plaiting braids on his mane (yard in the farm with Żabno)
